Careers
Learn the work properly, on real files.
A small practice means you see the whole engagement instead of one slice of it. Articles here sit in the client meeting, not just at the data entry screen.
In short: Casela Advisors, a Chartered Accountant Firm in Navi Mumbai and Thane, hires chartered accountants, semi-qualified CAs, CA article assistants, accountants, company secretaries and CS management trainees. Offices are at Airoli, Navi Mumbai and Thane West. Applications are made through the role forms below, or by email to careers@caselaadvisors.co.in.
Open positions
Seven ways in.
Chartered Accountant
Own client engagements across audit, taxation and advisory end to end. Sign-off responsibility, direct client contact and a say in how the file is run.
Semi Qualified CA
Work alongside qualified CAs while preparing for CA Final. Real audit, tax and compliance assignments with senior support, and study leave around attempts.
CA Article Assistant
Begin your articleship with rotation across audit, direct tax, GST and corporate compliance — rather than three years on one repeated task.
Accountant
Bookkeeping, bank and party reconciliation, GST returns and TDS filings across a varied client portfolio in Tally and Zoho Books.
Company Secretary
Corporate governance, ROC filings, secretarial audit and board process for private companies and LLPs across the Mumbai Metropolitan Region.
CS Management Trainee
Train under senior professionals across compliance, secretarial work and corporate law assignments while completing your CS training requirement.
Something else
Open to capable people in roles not listed here — administration, client servicing, technology. Tell us what you do and we will be in touch when something fits.
Working here
The honest version.
Every careers page promises growth and learning. Here is what is actually different, and what is genuinely harder.
Scope and access
- You see the whole engagement, from client meeting to filing
- Direct access to the founder, without four layers in between
- Client-facing work early, not after two years of data entry
- Rotation across audit, direct tax, GST and corporate compliance
- Your questions get answered by someone who has actually signed the return
The trade-offs
- Filing season is genuinely demanding — July, September and October are heavy
- A small practice means fewer people to hand work to when it piles up
- You will not get the brand name on your CV that a Big Four gives you
- No large in-house training department; learning happens on live files
- You need to be comfortable asking questions rather than waiting to be taught
Hiring process
Four steps, usually inside two weeks.
Apply
Fill the form for your role, or email your CV to careers@caselaadvisors.co.in. Mention which office is more convenient — Airoli or Thane West.
Screening call
A short call covering your background, what you have actually worked on, and what you are looking for. Fifteen to twenty minutes.
Technical discussion
A conversation about real scenarios rather than a written exam — how you would approach a reconciliation, a notice, or an audit observation. We are checking reasoning, not recall.
Offer
Role, reporting, location, compensation and start date in writing. You get told either way — a rejection is communicated, not left as silence.
Candidate questions
What applicants ask.
Which office would I work from?
Either Airoli, Navi Mumbai or Thane West, depending on the role and where you live. Tell us your preference when you apply. Some roles involve travel to client premises across the Mumbai Metropolitan Region for audit and stock verification work.
Do you give study leave for CA exams?
Yes. Leave around attempts is arranged in advance so it does not collide with a filing deadline. Discuss your attempt schedule during the screening call rather than after joining, so it can be planned into the team's workload.
I am looking for articleship. What will I actually be doing?
Rotation across audit, direct taxation, GST and corporate compliance rather than one repeated task for three years. Articles here attend client meetings and see how a file is scoped and priced, not only how it is executed. The trade-off is that filing season is demanding and you will be working real deadlines.
What is the compensation?
It depends on the role, your qualification stage and relevant experience. We discuss a specific number during the process rather than advertising a range that turns out not to apply to you. Articleship stipends follow ICAI requirements.
I do not have a CV ready. Can I still apply?
Yes. Use the role form, which asks for the details we need directly. If you would rather send a CV later, apply first and follow up — a missing document is not a reason to delay the conversation.
Will I hear back if I am not selected?
Yes. Everyone who reaches the screening call stage is told the outcome either way. Being left in silence after an interview is a bad experience and we do not do it.
Not seeing your role?
Send your CV anyway.
We are always open to meeting capable people. Write to careers@caselaadvisors.co.in and we will be in touch when something fits.
