About Casela Advisors
A small practice, deliberately.
Casela Advisors is a Chartered Accountant Firm in Navi Mumbai and Thane, based in [Your Locality] and serving businesses and individuals across both cities. We stayed small on purpose: the chartered accountant who takes your first call is the one who signs your audit report.
In short: Casela Advisors is a Chartered Accountant Firm in Navi Mumbai and Thane, Maharashtra, founded by Nainit Savla, a chartered accountant with 15 years in practice. The firm is registered with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and provides taxation, audit, corporate compliance and accounting services to MSMEs, startups, professionals and salaried individuals in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region.
Why the firm exists
Most compliance problems are not technical. They are calendar problems.
Almost every penalty notice we have unwound started the same way — not with a difficult interpretation of law, but with a return nobody filed, an input tax credit nobody reconciled, or a client who was never told a due date was approaching.
Casela Advisors was set up to run compliance as a scheduled operation rather than a seasonal scramble. That means fixed fees agreed in advance, filings completed before due dates rather than on them, and a monthly status sheet so you always know exactly where your business stands with the departments.
How we practise
Four commitments we hold ourselves to.
Quoted in writing before work begins
You receive a one-page engagement note with the scope, the deliverables and the fee. Government fees, challans and statutory charges are shown separately. If the scope changes mid-year, we re-quote rather than absorb it silently and bill you later.
Defensible, not merely aggressive
There is always a more aggressive position available. We will tell you it exists, tell you what it saves and tell you what it costs if it is challenged — then take the position you choose, documented properly, so it can be defended three years later in assessment.
Plain language, no jargon walls
If we cannot explain why a filing matters in two sentences you can repeat to your business partner, it has not been explained. Every acknowledgement is forwarded to you on the day of filing, and every notice is explained before we draft a reply.
Bound by the Chartered Accountants Act
Client information is confidential as a matter of professional obligation, not just policy. Records are stored on access-controlled systems and shared only with the persons you authorise in writing.
The people
Who will actually be handling your file.
Nainit Savla
Chartered accountant with 15 years in practice, working across both direct and indirect taxation for businesses in Thane, Navi Mumbai and the wider Mumbai Metropolitan Region.
Handles GST advisory and compliance, income tax assessments, statutory and tax audit, company and LLP incorporation with ongoing ROC work, and representation before the tax authorities. Every engagement is run directly rather than passed to an associate — which is the practical reason the practice has stayed the size it is.
Comparison
What working with a small firm changes.
An honest comparison, including where a larger firm is the better choice for you.
| Consideration | Casela Advisors | Large multi-partner firm | Online filing portal |
|---|---|---|---|
| Who handles your file | The founder, directly | Usually an article or associate | No named person |
| Fee structure | Fixed, quoted upfront | Often hourly or tiered | Lowest, but scope is narrow |
| Advisory beyond filing | Included in the engagement | Billed separately | Not offered |
| Notice and assessment support | Handled end to end | Handled, at additional cost | You are on your own |
| Best if you are | An MSME, startup, professional or individual wanting one named adviser throughout | A listed company, or one needing a global network and specialist departments | A salaried individual with one Form 16 and nothing else |
If your requirement genuinely needs a Big Four or a large national firm — group consolidation, IFRS reporting, transfer pricing at scale — we will say so in the first call.

Where is your office located?
Our office is at [Full Office Address], [Locality], [City] – [PIN]. It is approximately [X] minutes from [Nearest Railway Station] and we are accessible from both Thane and Navi Mumbai. Directions and office hours.
Do you take on clients outside Thane and Navi Mumbai?
Yes. Filing under GST, income tax and the Companies Act is entirely online, so we serve clients across Maharashtra and other states remotely. Thane and Navi Mumbai are simply where we do most of our in-person work — audit fieldwork, stock verification and first meetings.
Can I switch to you mid-year from my current CA?
Yes, and it is more common than you might think. Professional ethics require us to communicate with your previous auditor before accepting an audit engagement — we handle that correspondence ourselves. You will need to arrange the handover of your books, past returns and login credentials. We provide a checklist and reconcile the opening position before taking over the filings.
Do you work with startups that have not started earning yet?
Yes. Pre-revenue companies still have compliance obligations from the date of incorporation — commencement of business filing, annual ROC returns, director KYC, and a nil income tax return. Missing these creates problems at the exact moment you least want them, during investor due diligence. We keep a lighter, lower-cost engagement for pre-revenue entities.
